The S & K Watson handicap marked the 7th SAAC race of the season with 14 races to go.

Drew Christain claimed victory by 7 seconds over Elise Monaghan and then 4 seconds back was Claire Davies.
Jess Maffescioni was the fastest female and Nathan Baker was the fastest male.
Drew said, “SAAC is a great family-friendly club and everyone is so welcoming and supportive”. Drew has been improving his race pace every week resulting in back-to-back victories. It’s been a successful year for Drew having won the Mouth 2 mouth fun run in January.
Hunter Davies claimed his third victory of the season in the sub-juniors. He is running very well and very consistently. Will Freeland recorded the fastest time overall.
It’s over halfway through the 50 K in May challenge and the Glitter Angels have raised over $5000. On Saturday 21st, the club hosted a successful morning tea to raise funds for the group. Donations can be made through the website ‘The May 50K’.
The next run will be at Best’s Winery Sunday 29th of May at 9:30 am. This is a championship race, as well as a combined race with the Stawell Ararat Cross Country Club.
