Monaghan Triumphants in Toyota Classic

Winning the Stawell Toyota 8km handicap, was the icing on the cake for 18-year-old Monaghan. A clear victory with a 90-second lead over second place getter Simon Edge and two minutes clear of third placer, Drew Christian.

Elise has put a lot of time into her running recently and ran a sub 6 minutes in 1500m to win the Black Ranges school event. She carried that form into the Black Ranges 3km cross country event winning that in 14 minutes.

Fastest Female, once again goes out to Jess Maffescioni, while Nathan Baker takes out fastest male runner.

Hunter Davies stormed home to victory in the sub-juniors ahead of Nash Santuccione and Clarie Christian.

The fastest times for the Sub-Juniors goes out to Will Freeland and Nash Santuccione in a smashing time of 4:30 over the 1km course.

The Glitter Angels, will be running “50 km in May” to raise money for the gith against MS.

Our next club event is the infamous Bonnie Dundee aka Stephen Baird 5km handicap, on the 14th of May.

All runners please meet on course at intersections of Centre Rd & Bonnie Dundee track at 9:30 for a 10 am start.
